Introducing, Paul Newman!

Paul is a gorgeous male cat that must have had a home at some point but is now a stray cat in the T or C area. Paul is now rubbing up against Fritzi (his caregiver) and she can pet him as well! He had been hanging around Fritzi's house and so she started feeding him and paying attention to him. Paul is being cared for outside by this loving homeowner who has gotten him neutered and up to date on shots. Fritzi loves Paul and she tried to integrate him into her home. However, after weeks of trying to help her own resident cat accept Paul, she had to admit defeat and so back outside Paul went. Sadly, her resident cat just could not soften to the idea of Paul living in their home. So Paul Newman is now adoptable and ready for his new family! Following are Fritzi's paraphrased words about Mr. Paul Newman:

I named him after Paul Newman because of his pretty blue eyes. I think he would love to be a domesticated house cat again because he really liked being in my home. He's eager for a family. I think he was someone's cat. He showed up about a year ago and he would come by to eat.

He stayed in my house with my dogs and did well around my dogs., no issues. My cat Frankie just could not get used to Paul inside our house. Frankie doesn't want him here. So I let Paul back out.

Paul is a big cat. He is a sweet cat. He will need patience to let him get accustomed to his new home when he gets adopted. I kept him in my spare room for 3 weeks but he was crying a lot as he wanted more out of life that being in my spare room. I have 4 cats now and I couldn't add Paul because of Frankie's dislike of him.

He's gentle to people. If he gets adopted into a home with a cat, the family will have to do a gradual integration to let Paul adjust. Paul needs a home where people treat him with respect and kindness and patience.
