Patti Tuxedo & Domestic Medium Hair Mix Stoney Creek, ON

Patti's owner had passed and sadly the family wanted nothing to do with the cats and simply put them outside to fend for themselves. There was a film crew in the Hamilton area at the time and one of the workers took one of the cats home. We managed to trap and bring two more into our care. Patti had eluded us for over 5 months. The neighbors were kind of enough to continue to feed her so she would remain in an area that was familiar with to her. Finally, we trapped Patti and brought her into our care. Being by herself for so long took it's tole on her. She was frightened, didn't trust people and needed time to adjust to her new environment. Patti has come a long way and we feel she is ready to be adopted. This is what the foster mom has to say about the gorgeous girl:

Patti is a beautiful and sweet 10 year old girl who is looking for a quiet household. Patti enjoys climbing on my lap and snuggling with me while I pet her. When I pick her up and put her in my lap or chest, she will make herself comfortable and stay awhile. She adores being groomed and loves when I rub her head and scratch behind her ears and her cheeks. She will purr non stop as she receives lots of love. Patti is an introvert who will require some time to get adjusted. When she came to me, she would hide most of the time and would come out to get food. However, after some time getting adjusted to her new environment and spending time together, Patti's confidence and trust grew. She was excited to leave the room to go explore the house, but is scared of other cats. Therefore, Patti would need to be the only cat in the household. She would do well in a quiet environment, preferably without children. She has a lot of love to give; she just needs to be paired with the purrfect human match. She loves to snuggle and is a quiet girl. She is very low maintenance and will graze on her food throughout the day.
