Meet Ophelia
As best we can deduce, Opehlia was an owner dump. Fortunate for her, she was dumped in just the right place: the shop of a Lil Roar foster's husband! She crawled out from under the dumpster when he went to empty the day's trash and meowed at him in her very loud, but pitiful meow. She was trapped almost immediately and brough safely back indoors. She was rescued from a life on the streets which she really wasn't suited for before it could take it's toll on her sweet personality. She is FIV positive which may be why her former owner dumped her. FIV cannot be transmitted to humans, only to other cats and only through deep puncture bite wounds. She loves people, pets especially butt scritches, and other cats as long as they are not intimidating. She has also showed signs of stomatitis (gum disease) so is undergoing evalutation for possible dental extractions so she is on a strictly soft food diet at the moment to decrease the pain in her mouth.
