Meet Odin

Meet Odin! At two years old, Odin already has quite the story. This sweet guy was found roaming as a stray, with a leg that didn't work and an eye that couldn't see. Unfortunately, it was discovered that Odin had been shot several times, which resulted in an amputation of his leg and the removal of one of his eyes.

With that story, you would think Odin would be terrified of people and not like anyone, but this resilient guy is the exact opposite. Odin LOVES humans of any kind! He is currently fostered with a two year old and six year old human that he does very well with! When they get too loud or crazy, Odin just excuses himself and goes to take a snooze. Odin is also fostered with other dogs and other cats. He does well with all in his foster home, however, it does take him a few moments to warm up to animals, which makes sense considering he's already been through a lot!

Odin is learning to live life minus a leg and an eye, but it doesn't slow him down! After his surgery, he needed a little extra time to get used to the litter box and did have a few accidents, but since adjusting to his physical changes, he has picked using the litter box back up like a champ!

Odin has been through so much in just a couple of years, he deserves nothing but the best for the rest of his life! If he sounds like a good addition to your family - apply today! Odin's adoption fee is $75.

Kittens are very social by nature, so if there is no other cat in the home, our kittens (under one year of age) are adopted in pairs.

All of our cats come spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, combo tested, microchipped, up to date on flea and tick preventative, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.

For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the dog you are interested in, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.

We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where cats can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting a pet in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Thanks so much for caring about a needy animal!
