Meet Mo

MO, a polydactyl orange tabby, is possibly the friendliest and most loving cat on the planet! He is a lover and a lap-cat who is great friend to everyone he meets.

Mo was rescued along with his seven other siblings and /or cousins in a dirty area of the Bronx where there were multiple mother cats and co-mingled litters. The kittens were not in great shape, all having some degree of upper respiratory infections (colds) and infected eyes, and one of the siblings did not make it.

Mo was sweet and affectionate from the very beginning. He just wanted to be held and loved. Despite being weak and underweight, and even a short hospital stay, he wanted to play and was always curious. Mo's foster parents nursed Mo through a a few rounds of antibiotics and eye medicines, but ultimately Mo lost one eye due to the effects of the infection. However, he is much happier having the eye removed and it was the last step on his road to recovery!

Mo is now a typical rambunctious kitten, always getting into mischief and doing Zoomies around the house. He desperately needs a young feline friend and playmate! He will only be adopted into a home with another young cat or kitten.

** Reach out to get more info about our current social-distancing observed adoption process. **

All Bronx Tails cats are spayed/neutered (when age appropriate), vaccinated, tested for Feline AIDS and Feline Leukemia (negative for both unless otherwise noted) and are litterbox reliable and loving toward people.

We require adopters to fill out an application, have basic references checked, allow a home visit via video tour (to ensure conditions are safe and reasonable), and pay an adoption fee. We allow all adopters a 2-week-long tryout period to determine if the cat is a good match for them. We will also help with tips and methods for introducing the cat(s) to other pets, if needed.
