Meet Misty!

Misty, her brother (Mocha), and sister (Ashley) were rescued from a local shopping center and were on their way to becoming barn cats. When Lapcats heard about their plight, they brought the kittens into their program.
Misty is petite and all girl. She has a cutest little face and her fur is thick, dense, so soft. She is a little shy with new people but after a bit of time she warms up to new people. She loves cuddling up on her kitty bed or in the kitty tree where she loves getting her head and face rubs and having you brush her beautiful fur and lavishing her with love and affection. She loves to run, jump and play and will purr non-stop.
Misty should be adopted into a home with another cat or kitten but would love to be paired with her sister or brother to the same forever home.

We are currently accepting applications. We anticipate a large number of applicants. Applications will be carefully reviewed for the best fit.

LapCats are either in a home being fostered by a foster family or in our adoption centers inside PetSmart Elk Grove at 8215 Laguna Boulevard. Our cats are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, have been tested for FELV/FIV, treated with a flea preventative, have been wormed and are micro-chipped. Their $125.00 adoption fee also includes micro-chip registration, a county license for Sacramento County residents, a free office visit with a participating veterinarian, a free bag of food, free nail trimmings FOR LIFE, PetSmart coupons, assorted toys, and other complimentary items.
