Hi, I'm Milo! And I can hardly wait to meet you!

Milo is a confident, active Seal-Point Siamese gentleman with bright blue eyes. He is an intelligent and curious fellow that enjoys exploring and interacting with the people around him. Siamese cats, in particular, are known for their love of human companionship, and showing their emotions in their voice and behavior.

Milo is fond of vertical scratching posts, string toys and catnip mice, and attacks his toys with great ferocity. And he's especially fond of laps. Be forewarned -- Milo has a tendency to launch himself at you with little or no warning. Once he's settled in, he starts kneading and purring and drooling in absolute happiness.

During the day, Milo alternates between patrolling the house and hanging out near his people. Milo likes to be around and involved in what you are doing. He will tell you when he wants attention or food, and can be quite insistent when he needs something.

At night, Milo will gladly snuggle in the crook of your arm, although he has a tendency to sprawl across your chest as you sleep and nibble (lightly) on your chin.

Milo was adopted as a kitten and grew up with a family that still loves him very much. Unfortunately, they had to give him up recently due to allergy issues.

Milo is in good health. He has had recent vet visits and a senior blood panel, and is up to date on vaccines. He eats a mix of moist and dry food and uses his litter box perfectly.

Milo would love to find a forever home with a family that can give him lots of attention. He previously lived with a dog, and seems okay with other mild-mannered, well-behaved cats. However, at this stage in his life, he may prefer to lounge in his own space and would be happiest in a home where he can demand all of your attention.

It takes a conscious decision to adopt an older cat, but it is also very rewarding. Mature cats have complex and well-developed personalities, and they bond strongly with the people in their lives. In return, you will have a dedicated, good-natured companion who is always up to something interesting.

Milo is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!

We will place cats out of area but you must arrange to come and meet your new friend in person.
