Meet Meryl & Robert

Meryl has chosen to adopt Robert as her baby, lol, so we'd like them to be adopted together :) ♥

Meryl is a spayed female, shorthaired, dilute tortoiseshell cat who was approximately born on 6-1-2022. She was obviously someone's cat because she LOVES to schmooze and cuddle; she's not at all feral! Anyway, someone dumped Meryl on someone else's farm... Ugh. :(

Robert is a neutered male, shorthaired, gray tabby cat who was born sometime in August 2023. He was a stray cat before he came to our humane society. He was living under the deck of someone whose dog doesn't like cats. We were showing her how to set up the humane trap to catch Robert when he walked right into the trap!! That was easy! xD

Meryl is OBSESSED with food! She will INHALE her food! xP She's also VERY CLEVER and knows how to open her cage door! :O We have to "lock" Meryl in her cage with a piece of wire! :O

Meryl's a sweetheart who likes to follow us around in the room. She'll jump in our laps and snuggle :) ♥

Robert is SUCH A GOOD CAT!!! He LOVES to play with string toys, toy mice, toy balls, and would probably chase after the laser light too, lol! But the moment that we show him that we're finished playing and that it's cuddle time now, he takes note of it and snuggles right into our arms ? He also will give us kisses... He's such a sweetheart ?

Meryl is compatible with all adults and children. She thinks that Robert is her baby and she enjoys bathing him xD Meryl seems to prefer taking care of cats younger than her, than being around cats her age. We don't know if she likes dogs or not.

Robert is compatible with other cats. He wants to play with them, but they don't always want to play back :/ Meryl thinks that Robert is her baby and she enjoys giving him baths, hehe :) Robert is compatible with all adults and children. We don't know if he likes dogs or not, but he can learn to like them by growing up alongside them. :)

Meryl's currently eating Royal Canin Urinary SO Plus Calm, which we purchase from our vet. It has a calming agent in it that helps cats "deal with" living in a cage until they're adopted. We mix this in with a little bit of canned cat food.

Robert's currently eating Hill's Science Diet dry kitten food with a little bit of canned cat food on top.

Meryl is spayed and microchipped. She tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia, tested negative twice in a row for ringworm, is up-to-date on her vaccines, is up-to-date on Selarid (flea, heartworm, hookworm, roundworm, and ear mite preventative), and has been dewormed.

Robert has been neutered and microchipped. He tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia, tested negative twice in a row for ringworm, is up-to-date on his vaccines (he'll get booster shots done on 3-12-24), is up-to-date on Selarid (flea, heartworm, hookworm, roundworm, and ear mite preventative), and has been dewormed.

Meryl and Robert's adoption fee is $150.00 and we accept cash or check. (One cat is $100, the second cat is $50.) If you're currently renting, we require a letter from your landlord stating that you may have Meryl and Robert where you live.
