Meowgaret came to DunRoamin' on January 29, 2023 from Upper Kent where she was a stray who came to a door asking for help. She had tartar on her teeth and was infected with parasites, and although her rescuers would have loved to keep her, personal medical issues precluded it. She was also very matted, so she had not been cared for for some time. Fresh vehicle tracks in the driveway indicated that someone may have dropped her off, then left.

Mewgaret was born about February 1, 2022 and is a very nice and beautiful little long-haired girl. She was initially very stressed but has started to realize that she is now safe, will have lots of food, a warm bed, will be spayed, fully vaccinated, tested for FIV and FeLV and, of course, is already treated for parasites. She became more accepting of her caregivers very quickly as she realized that she was safe and could trust us. We hope she will find a loving home soon - she deserves it, as do they all.
