Macy Domestic Short Hair Holts Summit, MO

Macy is a small cat with a big attitude. She loves people of all ages and she tolerates other cats, but will not snuggle up with them.

Macy came to us with a tail injury and had all but about 2 inches of her tail amputated.

She doesn't like people walking up on her and trying to pet her but if you sit down, she will be in your lap in seconds wanting attention and giving gentle little kisses. Macy also loves to eat and gets very excited and bossy with the other cats when the canned food comes out.

Macy is vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, negative for Felv and positive for FIV. Don't let her FIV status worry you. FIV is Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, which slowly weakens a cat's immune system over the years, making them more prone to infections. A cat who tests positive will have a powerful immune system for many years and with a lot of love, a well-balanced diet, good vet care at least once a year, and kept inside, they can live long, healthy lives!

Macy's adoption contract includes a signed agreement to never declaw her and the stipulation that she must be an indoor cat and if for any reason his new family can't keep her, they'll return her to our rescue.
