Meet Leo
Leo is a sweet and loving 14-year-old domestic long hair looking for a forever home to inspire him.
Leo is a calm, introspective artist ready to make his humans and home his own. He leaves his artistic signature with fur by rubbing his face on the furniture, as well as the perches he takes to watch his humans around the home. Leo loves to knead his cat bed sculpting it to the perfect volume and shape before laying down for a catnap in the sunshine. He is a true lap cat, ready to take in the gentle pets he is given and transform them into a beautiful purring rhythm of contentment.
Leo does require pills twice daily (approximately $7 per month) as well as twice-yearly blood work to maintain healthy thyroid levels. He is on a special prescription diet to help his urinary tract (approximate cost of $70 per month). Leo does have arthritis, so he would do best in a home without stairs, or with a family willing to pick him up and carry him up the stairs so he can continue to be where his people are.
Leo thrives as the solitary cat in the home so he can soak up all the affection of his family. He has met older big and small dogs, so a pairing with a mature, calmer dog would be met with critical acclaim. Leo does well with children of late elementary age or above.
