Meet Lelo
Lelo is a very handsome white Turkish Angora breed who is one of our many international rescue cats we are helping to find homes for here in the USA! He is currently located in the Middle East awaiting his fur-ever home!
Lelo, along with so many others, are often found on the streets seeking food and safety all because their owners leave them behind. This is common practice when people move or no longer want their cats...they simply leave them behind.
There are very little resources in the Middle East for homeless pets. They do not have larger humane societies, TNR programs, organized community cat shelters (for street cats), shelter systems, or enough private animal rescues to help with all the homeless dogs or cats. This is why we have stepped in. Many of the cats we are trying to place are purebred or purebred mix cats like Lelo!
Lelo is a young (2-3 years old) cat and is fixed, vaccinated, FIV/FLeV tested and microchipped. He is great with all humans of any age including; young children, dogs, and other cats. He will be arriving to NYC/JFK once we have secured an adopter for him. All paperwork and adoption fees are paid ahead of his arrival to cover the costs of his flight.
