Meet Kim! She is a beautiful female that was rescued from an animal control in southern Illinois where she was at risk of euthanasia. She made the long transport north with hopes of a forever home and a second chance.

Kim is an amazing cat that needs a specific type of home. We have been praying that the right experienced adopters come along and give her exactly what she needs - she deserves it. She needs to the only cat in a home or live with other cats and dogs that are comfortable with her rough style of play. Kim has a high prey drive and likes to chase other animals when she plays. She definitely overwhelms older and calmer cats.

Kim is a fun cat that we think is cute and adorable. She is confident and adapts to new environments easily. If you are looking for a fun, spunky and funny cat that always wants to be part of the action, then this is your girl! She can be affectionate and beg for attention, often doing figure 8s around her foster's legs.
She will snuggle but prefers it to be on her terms - she will let her foster know when she has had enough. She loves cardboard boxes, watching birds and claiming her place in bed. This silly girl loves to sit on a blanket and go for rides as she is dragged around the house!

The best home for Kim is one where she can have plenty of interactive play to burn off energy. She doesn't really like to play by herself and hopes you will join her. If there are other animals, they would need to be comfortable with her rough housing. She loves to chase and be chased.
