Meet Juniper

Beautiful and opinionated…that is young Juniper. She has the sweetest face and loves to snuggle but will quickly voice her objections at the slightest inconvenience. She’s quick to forgive, though, even when the offender is her annoying/loveable brother.

Juniper is a “pocket kitten,” meaning she LOVES to be cozy in someone’s hoodie pocket or pouch. If you’ve always wanted a cat to snuggle in a baby wrap…Juniper may be your girl. This started from the time she was teensy and entered foster care and continues even as she’s outgrown most of those original little pockets. If no suitable pocket or pouch is available, Juniper will snuggle against her human as close as possible.
?Juniper loves to tackle her brother and it’s important that she have another young cat in the home as a playmate. She seems to especially need the tumbling fun of a worthy “opponent”. She appears to strategize and enjoy the challenge.

Priority will go to adopters who would like to adopt Juniper with either her brother Wallace, or her young mama cat, Rose. (Rose is practically a kitten herself.) Juniper and Rose look almost like twins!

While in foster, Juniper has been roommates with a middle-school-aged human and has had lots of teen visitors. She’s not met dogs or tiny humans, yet. She’s been cautious but calm towards the other adult cats in her foster home. She’ll likely do fine with other pets and even young children, if properly introduced and supervised.

Please head to our website to fill out an application prior to sending an inquiry or asking to set up a meeting: https://www.nwac-oregon.org/cat-application

Once your adoption application is approved we will contact you to put you in touch with the foster family to ask any questions, set up an online meeting, or to set up an person meet. If you submit an inquiry instead of an application, this will delay the process and increase the chance someone else will meet YOUR dream cat before you do! If we get an inquiry, we will ask you to fill out an application before we respond to questions.

The $175 adoption fee Includes spay/neuter, microchip, de-worming, current flea treatment, current vaccines for their age, and a vet exam. Unless otherwise noted, they have also had a negative test for FIV and FeLV.

Northwest Animal Companions is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the pets in our care.
