Meet Josie
Josie is a 7 year old, spayed female, orange tabby, domestic shorthair cat.
She is a shy girl and appreciates a quiet, calm home.
She is very, very sweet and enjoys being brushed and petted.
She is a quiet girl, however she is curious and likes to explore her surroundings. One of her favorite activities is to look out the window and watch the world!
Josie has shown that she likes to jump after the feather wand toys and will bounce off the walls trying to catch them!
She likes to be petted when she is sitting on her cat tree! Hands on attention is something she just loves!
She would do best as an only pet in the home as she does not like the company of other cats or dogs. She is scared of children and needs a home with adults only.
Josie originally came to our organization after she was surrendered at a local shelter. She was very scared and was not doing well in in that environment, so she was transferred to our organization and placed into a foster home. She was adopted but due to a move into a busier environment with children and other pets, Josie stressed and was returned to us.
Josie is currently on Hill’s Prescription Dry food for for Urinary Health as she was diagnosed with stress-induced cystitis.
We are hoping that Josie will not need to be on medication for anxiety as long as she can have a calm, quiet environment as an only pet with an understanding parent who will give her what she needs to be happiest!
A foster trial to ensure a good match for adoption is an option for anyone seriously interested in Josie.
Her adoption fee is $175.00
All cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, negative for FIV&felv, and have been treated for parasites.

PAR volunteers accept applications and upon pre-approval, a PAR volunteer will facilitate the visit with the adoptable cat.
We do not do visits unless the application has been pre-approved first.
PetSmart Associates do not facilitate visits at the store.
