Hey, hi there! Don’t you like my cone? I think it is quite the fashion statement. You won’t find anyone that will love you more then me. I love to gaze into the eyes of my humans, and I have been known to wag my tail like a pup. I spend my days lounging around on all of these comfy beds and getting to enjoy the sunshine in my catio. I love my people and I always get what I want, I am VERY persuasive. An adorable little weirdo, that is exactly what I am! I got some corks and screws a little loose but I am the bestest boy and I will give you my whole heart!
Our Jim Jam- he is a staff favorite and our bestest boy. Jam came to us in horrible shape- he had what appeared to be burn marks all over his whole body: they were on his tail, elbows, back and neck. The Vets figured he got stuck under the hood of a car and got burns from this. We later learned that in lue of that injury Jam also wounds himself- we are all at a loss for why he does it. It is clearly Neurological and the best we or the vets can assume is he has severe nerve damage- Due to this Jam is Prozac lifelong and he must wear a cone. But does the cone stop this little miracle? Absolutely not. Jam comes running down the hall like a pup, he even wags his tail like one. He loves to play and rough house- but loves to be picked up and cradled like the little angel he is. He is so LOVED by all who meet him, even our dog staff adore this little odd ball. Jam is special, and he is going to require someone special who can handle his little corks. We promise, he is worth it!
