Meet Jade, a gorgeous girl with so much love to give. Jade came to us, having been mistreated by her owner, scared to trust and terrified of everything and everyone. She was so untrusting we were worried that she was traumatized to the point of no return. But Jade had a secret.

She wanted to love and be loved. She just wasn’t sure how. Her foster let Jade learn on her own time table that she was safe and could trust him to not hurt her. Finally, after 3 months of patient waiting, Jade knew she was somewhere safe. She began venturing out of hiding while her foster was there and slowly began interacting with him. It didn’t take long after she started interacting that she blossomed into a sweet little lady love. She loves to hang out with her foster wherever he is in the house. Jade loves to give head boops and kisses and rolls on her back during ear scratches. And play time is always fun because she gets to be goofy and silly like all kitties should feel safe enough to be.

Jade’s dream home would be a quiet one where she can hang out and relax knowing she is safe. She needs to be in a home with no other pets, because she deserves to be the queen of her home after all she’s been through, and doesn’t want to share that with other furry roommates. She also needs to live in a home with no children. She is so pretty that little ones won’t be able to help themselves in wanting to give her loves, but she might not realize they won’t be hands that hurt her.
