This is a kitty who smiles. He has such a curve to his mouth that he makes me smile all the time. Named after another super loving Lynx Point Siamese, who I fostered, Jack is one of the world's nice guys. I have no idea how he ended up at a feral feeding station in an urban park. I am guessing he was taken there and left. With all of the notices posted about him it would have been easy to find him if someone was looking. The feral kitty feeders immediately noticed that this new guy was friendly. They brought him home. They found he had no microchip. They have a protocol with the local SPCA of establishing a 30 day hold for his family to come for him. Well, that hold is now over.

This sweet boy needs a new home. Jack is a big boy, 11 pounds. I would say he could afford to lose a pound but he is a strong, healthy young boy. They guessed his age was two and I would add a little more maybe 2 - 4 yrs. He arrived shy and unsettled. The last month has been very hard on him, of course. He lost his home. The feral cats were aggressive to him. Then he was cared for by a local cat rescuer and then finally transferred to us to find him a home. Kitties don't like all these changes. Jack was polite and handleable but shy at first. He has opened to us more every day. He is a lover and true to his Siamese nature wants a strong bond with his human. He wins everyone's heart.

He is a Lynx Point Siamese which means he has a "raccoon" striped tail, stripes on his head and bold bandings especially on his legs. And yes, he has the blue, blue eyes of a Siamese. He has been combo tested which means tested for Feline Leukemia and the Feline equivalent of HIV for both of which he was negative. (These illnesses are passed through outside cats). He has been wormed, put on flea medicine, vaccinated and microchipped and nail trimmed. He arrived neutered.

Some family will be very fortunate to have his company. I don't know how he is with dogs but he is a little iffy with cats, which may be due to his recent memory of the feral kitties protecting their food and territory. I expect he would be fine with gentle, respectful, middle aged children. Mostly he wants his human(s). I expect he wants to sleep close at night. He is a gentle, sweet kitty.

Jack eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.

Jack II is neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, and microchipped.
Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue (purebredsplus.org), serving Northern California, the San Francisco Bay Area, and Northern Nevada, is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of purebred cats, kittens and other exceptional felines. We are a 501 (c)3 non-profit rescue group. Most of our beautiful felines come from Northern California Animal Shelters. One of our goals is to keep purebred cats from ever ending up in a shelter. We are happy to help you if you need to rehome your purebred cat. Often, we can offer advice if your cat is having behavioral problems, and you may end up keeping the cat. We do NOT ship cats. We will place cats out of area but you must arrange to come and meet your new friend in person.
