Meet Houston

Hi!! My name is Huston. I may look a little rough on the outside but I'm sweet as sugar on the inside. When I first came to Madison-Greene Humane society I was very scared. I took quite a while to warm up to the staff. I enjoyed them petting me for a little bit while I hid in my bed. Eventually I felt comfortable and trusted people and I showed the shelter staff my true personality. I love chin scratches and pets. I'm a very energetic boy and love to play. The staff say I can be a bit of a troublemaker sometimes as I like to be at the center of everything they are doing. I'm just trying to help them out and get some extra attention! You noticed I only have one eye, I lost one to an infection when I was a smaller kitten. I also have FIV, despite this I am otherwise a healthy kitty. I love playing with the other cats at the shelter! I know I'm quite the charmer. I would love to come home with you and be the center of your life today and make friends with any cats you have at home.
