Hey, hey, hey! It's me, H.N.C., coming atcha from the Cattery at HSHC! You've seen orange and white Tabby boy cats before, but none as handsome and super cool as me. I'm 5-years-old, and I was recently surrendered to the shelter. My owners didn't truly understand me and my lively personality. I am friendly and confident and love being petted and scratched as much as the next cat. But the tricky thing is that I can turn on a dime when I have had enough attention. Or I might seek out attention from you by pouncing on your feet to get you to play. I can be a smidge unpredictable. I don't always know how to play gently. Because I have loads of energy, I need plenty of interactive playtime with you. The interviewer lady (IL) was happy to see me run up to her and meow for pets. I also hopped onto her lap and gave her a nose kiss. Later, when she went to pet me again, I swatted at her. First-time cat owners may not know how to keep me in line. However, the folks at the HSHC have plenty of suggestions for ways to improve my behavior. I had a good relationship with the dog in my home and have lived with a group of cats in a Roaming Room in the shelter. I'm probably too boisterous for little children, but the I.L. says I will make the perfect partner for someone who understands goofy cat behavior and likes spunky felines. 3-26-24
