Hi, my name is Hippo! I'm a PURPLE pawprint, which means I will fit well into a home that meets some specific criteria. Here is what would work best for me in my new home:

-Personality: A shy cuddle monster!
-Can Live with Cats: Possibly if other cat is not a bully. Lived with kitties previously.
-Can Live with Dogs: No, he did not appreciate dogs in his previous home.
-Can Live with Kids: Kids 12+
-Needs Indoor Only Home: Yes due to being so timid
-History of Litter Box Issues: Yes in previous home but this was likely due to stress. He must be on a prescription urinary diet due to previous urinary crystals/blockages.
-Energy Level: Medium
-Bite History: No
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Vet check
Additional Information:

Foster home: Hippo is a cuddle monster! Once he warms up to you, there is nothing in the world he would trade for a good cuddle. He needs a calm home where he can get the attention and loving he needs. He is very shy at first and it took him at least a few days to slightly be comfortable with us and 1-2 weeks to be fully comfortable in our home. Just be sure he has nice safe space to go (he also likes hidey beds!) if he gets overwhelmed.
