Hersheys **bonded with Cocoa** Domestic Short Hair Farmington, MN

Hershey’s is a 6 month old kitten who sees the world as one great big adventure. He LOVES to play, especially with his sister Cocoa. Any and every toy is his favorite. While his sister Cocoa is more mellow, Hershey’s gets the zoomies every now and then and loves to run around like a goofball. But don’t be fooled by his love of play. He also loves to cuddle. He also loves to cuddle with his foster mom. He leaps onto her lap and once he’s done wiggling around he settles in to doze off or to watch a video of birds or fish on his foster mom’s phone.

Hersheys and his sister were found outside with their mama. While their mama was socialized and comfortable with people, Hersheys and Cocoa were not. Loud noises startle him and he runs for a place to hide. He is more outgoing than his sister, who follows his lead but still very timid when he meets someone new. He startles easily at loud noises and will run and find a place to hide.

Hersheys and Cocoa are a bonded pair and need to be adopted together. Because they are both so easily startled, a home with children is not an option for them. Their first foster has a young child and they were so scared of him they shut down. They also are terrified of dogs, so they need a furever home without a dog. They might do ok with a mellow, laid back cat, but their energy and love of play might be overwhelming to another cat. They would do best as the only pets so they can be the center of attention.
