Derby Domestic Short Hair Vine Grove, KY

Derby came to ARC with his siblings as young kittens. He was quickly adopted out to a family with other kitties and ferrets. Turns out that Derby really likes his ferret friends, he loves to play and snuggle with them! Unfortunately, Derby was stressed in a multi-cat home, but is now doing pretty well in a room with a few laid back kitty roommates. We are learning that with Derby, the key is very slow introductions and integration into the space.

He is very affectionate with people and has the loudest purr!!! He comes when he hears his name and is just a huge snuggly lap cat! He is also very handsome, as you can see in his photos!
