Meet Hedgie

Hedgie, born approximately 3/6/2022, is a miracle kitten with a personality as special as she is adorable. Hedgie was hand raised and bottle fed by a devoted foster mom and discovered a whole new lease on life. Because of her rough start to life, Hedgie was born with some vision problems but has had a very successful resection performed by a renowned surgeon at Animal Eye Care of Cary. Now, she has one big beautiful yellow eye that she can clearly see from for the first time in her first months of life! Despite her shortcomings, Hedgie has blossomed into a darling, charming, Tuxedo teenager with kitten spunk and endless energy but lots of love and affection to give. Hedgie LOVES to spend quality time on a screened-in porch, listening to the sounds of birds chirping and a gentle breeze. She is a delightfully whimsical people-person and often engages in playful activities with her foster humans. She would love to find a forever home where she will have another kitty friend or two to adventure throughout the house with.

Our adoption fee is $100 for each cat 6 months and older, $150 if you adopt two 6+ month-old cats at the same time. $125 for each kitten, $200 for two kittens adopted at the same time. That fee includes spay or neuter, microchipping (we register the chip for you), testing for FeLV (Feline Leukemia) and/or FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), current, age-appropriate vaccinations, FeLV vaccinations for kittens, flea treatment and deworming. All adoptees receive an “exit exam” from one of our veterinarians before going home.

NO RISK! Adoption fee is refundable for two weeks to make sure you've found a match for your household. Even after two-week period, we'll take the adopted cat back for any reason

Adoption Fairs held at the clinic on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month, unless the Saturday falls on an observed holiday. Applications still required to be approved before adoption, but the fairs are open to the public and are typically between 1-3pm. Watch for announcements on our Facebook page!

**The Sheets Pet Clinic cat adoption program is funded entirely by the clinic. Every staff member is part of the rescue team. Staff members devote countless off-the-clock hours to the cats in our care. Sheets Pet Clinic is a full-service veterinary hospital plus a low-cost spay/neuter clinic. Everyone qualifies for our low-cost spay/neuter program, regardless of income. We also have a feral cat assistance program, rent out humane traps, and give deeper discounts to numerous local rescue nonprofits to aid them in their fight to end cat/dog overpopulation and homelessness. **http://sheetspetclinic.com/
