I'm glad you stopped to read my interview. I've been hanging out at the HSHC since March 11, when my owner surrendered me. I am an attractive blend of Tabby and Calico markings, 4-years-old, spayed, and litterbox savvy. I'm a girl who loves attention and affection on my terms. I am partial to adults, kids older than 8, and some dogs. Cats and young children get on my last nerve. When overstimulated, I might hiss, scratch, or swat to show disapproval. However, if you are fluent in reading a cat's body language, you will know when to leave me alone. On the interviewer lady's visits with me, sometimes I was happy to have her pet me, and other days I felt more reserved. Today, I approached her, purring, and rubbed against her head. I enjoyed being stroked so much that I began to eat my lunch. We had a great session. I believe being in the shelter makes me uncomfortable, and when in my forever home, I will feel more relaxed and content. Just make sure there are no cats or kids under 8! I want a patient, understanding owner who will give me time to adjust. 4-5-24
