Meet Mollee and Gizmo!

Name: Gizmo
Age: 7 years young
Name: Mollee (Gray domestic shorthair possible Blue Russian mix)
Age: 8 years young

Mollee and Gizmo are a mother and son duo who were first rescued in 2016 from a rural overcrowded shelter, where they were brought in together. They were adopted by a loving family through our program but sadly, due to unforeseen health issues, they have been returned to us and are now looking for their forever home.

Mollee is a confident and outgoing cat who loves to meet new people. Gizmo is a sweet and mellow boy who may take a little time to warm up, but he's just as loving and friendly as Mollee. They have a special bond and have been together their entire lives. Both Mollee and Gizmo are litter trained and well-mannered kitties, making them a joy to have around the house. Cats like Mollee and Gizmo tend to live well into their late teens, so they still have many years of love and companionship to give to their forever family. If you are looking to welcome two wonderful feline friends into your home, Mollee and Gizmo would be the perfect addition to your family.

If you would like to give Mollee and Gizmo the forever home they deserve, please visit our website at rarerescue.org to fill out an adoption application. Let's help Mollee and Gizmo find their happily ever after!

BREEDS: We are not breed experts. The breed(s) listed for each adoptable are best guesses or suggestions.

PLEASE NOTE: We are a non-profit organization without municipal or government funding. Veterinary/Medical expenses are constant for an animal rescue. Our adoption fees not only help to provide vetting and care for the animal being adopted, but they also help to cover heartworm treatments and other treatable ailments that many animals, that would otherwise be euthanized, need in order to be made available for adoption.

Please understand that adopting an animal is a LIFETIME COMMITMENT to that animal and there will be veterinary expenses throughout their life that can often cost several hundreds, if not thousands of dollars (without pet insurance), especially without annual checkups and preventative care.  As a potential family for this pet you are responsible for their safety and that includes keeping them on your property.

***If you are not in the middle Tennessee area, transport can potentially be arranged to approved homes, depending on distance and local adaptability. We normally do not allow adoptions outside of 1.5 hours driving distance.

Thank you for choosing to adopt, foster, or aid in the rescue efforts of RARE!
