MY STORY:
Garnet and her little brother were very sick little kittens trying to survive on a farm. A person visiting the farm asked if they could take the kittens and once they got them, they contacted us for help.

Sadly it was too late for Garnet’s brother. His little body just could not recover but Garnet kept fighting and slowly improving.

We think it is her “tortitude” that helped her out. She is very independent and right now, still not so sure about her foster mom. She allows a little petting and will sleep on the bed and sit nearby but not ready to be a lap cat yet.

She definitely needs other friendly kitties in the home for companions. And in her foster home, her bestie has turned out to be a tripod kitty who was originally feral. The two of them have become inseparable and so we decided to list them together hoping that someone would fall in love with these adorable girls.

Tres was born in a feral cat colony and was missing part of her back leg. The colony caregiver live trapped her when it was evident the leg would need to be removed due to a constant sore around exposed bone.

Little Tres didn’t take long to turn from feral to adorably lovable with her foster mom. She is doing great with three legs. She is very playful and loves her BFF, Garnet.

They are about the same age and same size. They have no litter box issues and are very healthy and happy. They love toys, love to chase each other, and best of all, love to snuggle and groom each other. They are adorable.

A home without small kids is probably best since both will be very shy and unsure of any new people since they have only known there foster mom but with patience and time, they will be wonderful house cats.

Inside-only home and must keep claws. The adoption fee for this kitty is $100. Adopt a pair of kitties for $150. Each cat and kitten has been: altered (spayed/neutered), vaccinated (age-appropriate) - rabies and distemper combo, microchipped, tested for FeLV (negative unless previously noted), and treated for fleas, ear mites, and worms.
