MY STORY:
One bright and early Sunday morning a local resident looked out the door to her deck and found this good looking kid staring right back at her. She thought when she opened the door he would scamper off but instead he just continued to sit and stare at her as if pleading for her help. She quickly put out food and water and he ate and drank and drank and drank, obviously he was very thirsty.

Upon arriving at the shelter, he was given the name Garmin and he immediately stepped out of his carrier purring as if this was nothing new for him. He settled right in and has been quite content with full bowls of food and water and prefers to sleep on a flat mat instead of a fluffy bed. He loves attention from the volunteers and his preferred perch at the shelter is right smack dab in the middle of the front counter and desk! We think it's because he likes to watch everything that goes on at the shelter and to monitor the other kitties. He hasn't been one to join in with all the other kitties in playtime yet and seems to get a bit annoyed with them after awhile but never seems to tire of hanging out on the desk. Garmin has a shiny jet black coat and clear golden eyes that pair purrfectly with it.

Inside-only home and must keep claws. The adoption fee for this kitty is $100. Adopt a pair of kitties for $150. Each cat and kitten has been: altered (spayed/neutered), vaccinated (age-appropriate) - rabies and distemper combo, microchipped, tested for FeLV (negative unless previously noted), and treated for fleas, ear mites, and worms.
