Meet Garfield
Garfield is so named because he wandered up to the wandered up to the Garfield Park Neighborhood Association offices one cold January night. Staff posted looking for an owner but none was found so we took him in.
He has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and given flea/tick treatment. He is FIV/Felv negative. He's a friendly, dapper fellow who sometimes needs a little time to adjust to new situations. Be patient with him and he'll reward you with his affection.
Garfield can become easily overstimulated. As such, he would do best in a home without kids or with kids who know cat body language and can be respectful. He would also do best with an experienced cat owner who is familiar with cats who can bite due to overstimulation. A calm, quiet house would be ideal for him.
