MY STORY:
A semi-feral stray kitty had kittens under an elderly lady's deck and she asked for some assistance for them. Mama and the three kittens were quickly captured and fixed to ensure they would not continue to reproduce. Mama made it clear that she was not going to be happy about living indoors in close proximity to humans and has adapted purrfectly in her new feral cat colony. The kittens were young enough for us to try and socialize them into companion kitties and they were placed in a foster for many months and adapted fully to indoor life.

Two of the three sisters have been adopted, leaving only Gabby still looking for a home. She was the shyest of the sisters but has gained a lot of confidence while transitioning from a foster home to the shelter. She gets along great with other kitties and shares a room with a number of them. When you have earned her trust, Gabby will let you pick her up and will crawl on to your lap for a few minutes. She will need patience and extra time to settle in to a new home and trust her new humans and may not be the best fit with small children and very active homes as she may still be spooked by a lot of noise and quick movements. She has a deep dark tortoiseshell coat and none of the "tortitude" that usually comes with it!

Inside-only home and must keep claws. The adoption fee for this kitty is $100. Adopt a pair of kitties for $150. Each cat and kitten has been: altered (spayed/neutered), vaccinated (age-appropriate) - rabies and distemper combo, microchipped, tested for FeLV (negative unless previously noted), and treated for fleas, ear mites, and worms.
