Meet Fred and Ebenezer

Fred and Ebenezer came to us at different times from different places and have become fast friends. For this reason, they need to be adopted together.

Fred showed up at a woman's house who works for a trap, spay/neuter program in a county north of here. It was discovered after being altered that he was FIV+. At the time he was trapped, Fred had an abscess on his paw, was underweight, and wasn't grooming himself. After the woman took him in, Fred made big progress - the abscess healed, he gained weight and gained confidence! We were able to take this sweet boy in.

Meet Fred, the Feline Ambassador of Love! This handsome orange tabby is the epitome of sweetness and gentleness, with a heart as big as his purrs. Fred is on a mission to spread love, one paw at a time, and he's looking for some furry and human friends to join him on his journey!

Fred's affectionate nature knows no bounds – he adores attention from his human companions and will gladly soak up every cuddle and chin scratch you're willing to give. With his soft fur and soulful eyes, he's sure to steal your heart in an instant.

But Fred's love doesn't stop there! He's also eager to make friends with other cats, always approaching with a friendly purr and a gentle nudge. He believes in the power of friendship and is ready to embrace any feline pal who crosses his path.

If you're looking for a loving companion who will fill your days with warmth and affection, look no further than Fred!

FIV+ cats like Fred can live long and healthy lives like their non-FIV friends. They can also live with non-FIV cats, as he does here at the center.

Ebenezer came from a colony in a busy area in Grand Rapids. He led a tough life on the streets and is now happily living the good life inside!

Ebenezer isn't your average cat; he's a unique blend of independence and friendliness that's sure to steal your heart. At first glance, you might notice his extra toes and irresistibly cute chubby cheeks. But it's his personality that truly sets him apart.

Ebenezer is an independent spirit who knows what he wants. He enjoys spending time with his human friends, especially when it involves gentle pets and scratches behind the ears. He is not afraid to ask for attention and quietly approaches volunteers and visitors for some affection.

One of Ebenezer's endearing quirks is his fascination with running water. You might catch him sticking his head under the faucet, seemingly mesmerized by the flowing stream. It's just one of the many adorable traits that make him so lovable!

Ebenezer is FIV+ but can live as long and healthy of a life as his non-FIV friends. Cats who have FIV can live with non-FIV cats, as they do here at the center.

Ebenezer has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Ebenezer has an approximate birthdate of March, 2019.

Fred and Ebenezer's adoption fee is $190.
