Meet FLORA **Adoption Pending**
AGE: 2 - 3 years
DESCRIPTION: DSH - Calico
LOCATION: PETS Shelter (114 W Main Street) - Panora, IA
MY STORY:
Flora was one of 12 cats and kittens abandoned in an apartment. Luckily, PETS was notified before the situation got really bad. All the kitties were safely removed and have spent the last month in foster homes getting lots of attention.
Flora is a wonderful kitty. She was a terrific mama to her two little babies and a fantastic foster mom to 4 of the other kittens that were found in the apartment. As all the the kittens have grown, Flora finally has gotten to be a kitten herself. She loves stalking and hunting toys and watching real birds at the bird feeder outside the big window. She gets along well with other kitties and can often be found napping with at least one other. She is a loving kitty and would make someone a wonderful companion. Flora is a big boned girl that could definitely benefit from some additional exercise! She has a very unique calico coat with lots of white on her underside and her colored patches along her back!
MORE DETAILS:
Inside-only home and must keep claws. The adoption fee for this kitty is $100. Adopt a pair of kitties for $150. Each cat and kitten has been: altered (spayed/neutered), vaccinated (age-appropriate) - rabies and distemper combo, microchipped, tested for FeLV (negative unless previously noted), and treated for fleas, ear mites, and worms.
We ask that interested parties fill out a cat adoption questionnaire only if you are seriously considering adopting this sweet kitty. You can get the application by going to our website at "http://www.panorapets.com/adopt"
and clicking on the "Cat Adoption Questionnaire" button at the top of the page. Once you have submitted the questionnaire, an adoption coordinator will contact you usually within 24 hours. Please be patient and thank you for your interest in this kitty.
P.E.T.S. supports the "Paws Need Claws" Campaign. Cats are rather attached to their claws; please do not de-claw your cats.
