Fiona Tabby Maple Ridge, BC

Fiona is a gorgeous brown tabby, with striking white markings that make her so unique. She also has a unique personality... she sure loves people and attention, and then she sure doesn't. Oh wait, maybe that doesn't make her so unique, that just makes her a cat!!!
Fiona is about 4 years old. She has no health issues other than she is overweight. But that is nothing that a good quality food diet can't help control. Fiona has had life experience so far that has created her difficulties with interaction - she was raised as an only kitten and then later she was isolated in her home due to family allergies, so both of these things have resulted in a cat without the proper socialization skills. However, since she has only been with us a month and we already see her social skills developing, we do feel that given enough time and patience in her new home, she will make the most loving companion possible. She absolutely loves a lap, and will quickly sooth herself to sleep as she quietly purrs on your lap. But watch out... if she is startled or triggered by something, she does have the tendency to react.
An indoor only lifestyle, good quality food, no other cats, and a cat savvy home is just what this gal needs and deserves.
