Laying amongst the Wildflowers sweet Emmy Lou was feeling lost, like a Wayfaring Stranger in a world that wasn’t for her. Every time she thought she’d find her place, she’d be spurned again. She knows first hand that Love Hurts and can tell you Even Cowgirls Get the Blues. But this time she knew things would be different. That the Darkest Hour is Just Before Dawn. Pregnant with her second litter of kittens in less than a year (14 all together) she met some new friends and was hopeful things would be Easy From Now On.

Emmy Lou decided to take a chance at winning over these new friends. She hoped that One of These Days they’d take a chance on her “If I Could Only win Your Love” she thought and came up with a plan to prove how sweet she could be. She approached carefully and gave a head bonk. That’s All it Took for her new friends to know she could have a happy life inside.

There was no more Making Believe for Emmy Lou. She really was moving into a home to have her babies. They would be safe and well fed and secure. She was singing out “I’m Movin’ On” and had such Sweet Dreams when she arrived at her foster family home. Emmy Lou has learned that is it safe to have That Lovin’ You Feelin’ Again and is Pledging Her Love to all in return. And To Know Her Is to Love Her. She is a sweet, playful young cat. We believe this beautiful Tortoiseshell Tabby mix is around 2 years old.

Emmy Lou’s kittens were all adopted and now she can starting thinking about finding a home of her own. She has a quiet little ever-present purr. She may be a bit hesitant at first, but she loves treats and attention which makes it easier to gain her trust.
