Duchess is currently in a foster home. The following notes are from her foster mom:

"I am not biased when I say she is a wonderful cat. She will get on my lap and since the surgery and in bed a lot, she has not left my side. She is affectionate and loves to be petted. There are five other female cats in the house and she gets along with them. She and the one younger cat will chase each other--they are playing. She uses a litter box all the time. No accidents ever. She has the most expressive eyes--they will follow me when I talk to her. She comes into the room when I am playing the violin and she will sit there and listen."

As you can see, this wonderful, beautiful girl is an amazing companion! Please give the shelter a call if you're interested in meeting this special kitty.All AAF cats and dogs are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and microchipped. All cats receive a FelV/FIV combination test while dogs over the age of 8 months are tested for heartworms. All pets are also treated for both intestinal parasites and fleas. The AAF is proud of the medical attention that is given to each and every pet as their health and well-being is of the utmost importance to our organization.

The adoption fees* for our pets are as follows:
Kittens: $85
Cats 5 months and older: $60
Puppies: $150
Dogs 5 months and older: $135

* AAF will at times have a promotion that temporarily discounts fees.

You can visit us and our pets who are available for adoption:
Monday-Friday 11 AM - 7 PM
Saturday 11 AM - 4 PM
Sunday Noon - 4 PM
Closed Holidays

You can meet the cats and kittens, however we do not do same-day adoptions. An application is required and must be qualified prior to an official adoption appointment. You can see our dogs from the adoption aisle, however, prior to a personal meeting, you must submit an application and receive an adoption appointment.
