Meet Cleo **Meet me at the Lakeville PetSmart**

If you are interested in any of the cats available at New Leash Rescue, please email adopt@newleashrescue.org for a cat application form.

This pretty girl is Cleo. She’s been through quite a lot prior to coming into rescue.

Cleo was brought into a local impound with a broken leg after having gotten out of a screened window on the second floor. She has since had surgery and using the leg normally.

Cleo gets along well with the other cats in her foster home. She’s litter box trained and loves to lounge in the cat tree.

She would make any person a happy companion.

Kittens are required to be adopted in pairs with another kitten or be adopted to a home that already has a younger cat who will tolerate kitten antics. It is important for a kitten's socialization and long term development to still have another feline to help them learn from.

As part of the adoption process, vet references will be checked on past/current pets looking for history of routine exams, DHPP/FDRC and rabies vaccines.

Adoption fee is $250 + tax (no checks)

Email adopt@newleashrescue.org with questions.

Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home.

Sometimes there is more that comes out about an animals personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.
