Meet Claire
Claire was discovered one evening concealed within a feral cat colony, though she is not feral herself. She had sustained severe injuries, necessitating the amputation of one of her hind legs. She's currently walking with a bit of unsteadiness, but this is expected to improve with time and practice. She will require a low-entry litter box, but beyond that, she should need no special accommodations beyond help getting onto furniture like couches or chairs.
Claire has made remarkable progress! She's a plump little girl who adores playing, yet she prefers to keep a distance from other animals. She's able to hoist herself onto my bed or use steps to reach it.
Claire is longing for a home without other pets, or at least one where the resident pet does not seek close companionship.
