Meet CHURCH
AGE: 5 - 6 months (as of 08/13/23)
DESCRIPTION: DSH - Chocolate Tabby
LOCATION: Foster Home
MY STORY:
One of our adopters is the caretaker of a feral cat feeding station in her hometown and this little guy started showing up there recently and each day he returned without a mother or any other kittens his age. The caretaker could see he was quite scared but wanted so badly to trust her. After a few days she built up enough trust and was able to get him in a carrier which started him on his journey to a new life.
Given the name Church, he was very healthy and settled in to his new foster home. For the first couple of days he wanted to be friends with the other kittens but wasn't quite sure how to go about it. He would try and engage them in play but would then turn around and growl and hiss when they played back. He has it all figured out now and is now great buddies with all the other kitties. He loves all kinds of toys, especially the circular ones with the balls inside. Church is super sweet to his foster parents and likes to rub his face on his foster dad's beard and to stick his nose in his foster's mom's ear while he purrs. He has such a big robust purr he is known as Sir Purrs-A-Lot. He loves to be held and petted and should do well in any kind of home and family. Church sports a snazzy little dark chocolate tabby coat and has such big ears he needs to grown into. LOL
MORE DETAILS:
Inside-only home and must keep claws. The adoption fee for this kitty is $100. Adopt a pair of kitties for $150. Each cat and kitten has been: altered (spayed/neutered), vaccinated (age-appropriate) - rabies and distemper combo, microchipped, tested for FeLV (negative unless previously noted), and treated for fleas, ear mites, and worms.
We ask that interested parties fill out a cat adoption questionnaire only if you are seriously considering adopting this sweet kitty. You can get the application by going to our website at "http://www.panorapets.com/adopt"
and clicking on the "Cat Adoption Questionnaire" button at the top of the page. Once you have submitted the questionnaire, an adoption coordinator will contact you usually within 24 hours. Please be patient and thank you for your interest in this kitty.
P.E.T.S. supports the "Paws Need Claws" Campaign. Cats are rather attached to their claws; please do not de-claw your cats.
