Meet Chocolate! We know this is a longshot but there might be someone out there that will love him and take care of him and limited medical needs. Chocolate was rescued from a market in Cairo, Egypt living in a rusty old cage with other cats and wire bottom. We saw a picture of him and knew we must save him for a better life. He came over to the United States in February in hopes for a better life but since he's been here yes he has had a better life with medical care. But, he really needs a home and someone who will love him and care for him until his final days. Chocolate has polycystic kidney disease, he does suffer on and off from anemia so he'll need B12 shots occasionally. He does switch around on food and what he likes to eat so there may be a few changes right now he is eating Royal Canin mother and baby cat which he really likes. We do have KD food for him He is hit and miss on it. He does not like canned food. He does also have to get sub q fluids. He's up and down when he will need them on whether his drinking slows down or not or he is dehydrated. So anyone with that knowledge would be perfect for him and it's actually easy to do and has a good relationship with your vet for his needs. Currently he is in a large cage to monitor his eating better and fluid intake . He is pretty chill laid back and a total lover. He absolutely loves to hug and be held he's fantastic. Anyone would fall in love with him. We would really love to get him a home where he could spend his final days where the vet said it could be a few months or a few years. If anybody out there can please open up your home and heart to him that would be perfect to show him life is better here. He is good with other cats. Please feel free to send an inquiry.
