Hi, my name is Chives! I’m a handsome 7 year old panther with the most gorgeous green eyes!

I am a curious boy, who loves to explore all areas of my home. You will usually find me perched up in the window chattering at the birds, or hiding under a blanket taking a snooze. That is of course when I’m not following you around making sure you aren’t lonely! I love head butting humans big toes, and purring so much when they give me gentle scratches behind my ears and under my chin. Occasionally, when my humans sit on the couch I love to get comfy on their lap and give them a few kisses on their forehead.

I also enjoy all things catnip! If there’s a toy with catnip inside, it’s instantly a favorite of mine. Those toys on a string, also love those! My current foster parents have a cat tree that I occasionally like to climb up on and I prefer my scratching post to be horizontal. When they are this way I am a scratching pro! I don’t mind having my nails trimmed, but I am quite wiggly so it can’t be done all at once. My foster parents also say I am a very good boy at using my litter box!

My ideal home would include humans that want to spend lots of time with me, and give me all of the love and attention that I deserve. I am a connection-seeker and need a human who is home a lot. I love when they can work from home! If you can’t, I understand and would thrive with another friendly, confident, and outgoing feline companion.

Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped.
