Meet CHECKERS - Gentle, Reserved, Loving, Siberian Girl!
CHECKERS is a wonderful, loving, playful girl! She is quickly comfortable and playful. Within minutes, she is very playful and silly. She loves people! She is also very dog-like. It took her a while to become as social as she is, but now she readily seeks affection!
CHECKERS is here with us, in Connecticut. Luckily, we saved her and now want to find her a loving home. She is 4 years old and lived with one of our rescue partners, always indoor, throughout her life. She is very sweet, but a little shy.
CHECKERS likes other cats and is very easy-going! She loves attention from people, and she'll follow you around to be in your business. She is gently vocal. She seems timid until you pick her up, and then she purrs and tries to roll over in your arms.
CHECKERS is ready for immediate adoption!
There will be a lot of demand for CHECKERS. She will have an adopter very quickly! Make sure to send an email requesting an application. IF YOU ARE NOT READY FOR IMMEDIATE ADOPTION, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY!!!
Filling out an application does not guarantee adoption of a particular kitten. We receive many applications for each listed cat, and we review them carefully to ensure a good fit. Of approvable applications, we give precedence to the earliest that we receive.
All of our cats and kittens come to us as part of our southern rescue program - saving lives from high kill southern shelters.
All of our cats are spayed/neutered, given age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV and FeLV, as well as given flea, heartworm, and ear mite prevention.
We do not DNA or allergy test our cats. We cannot guarantee the breed mix, as we are a rescue, not breeders.
Please note that we are a privately run rescue. We are not government funded and get very few donations. The care that we provide, the animals that we rescue, all costs are covered out of pocket, so our adoption fees are higher than what you may find at a funded or government shelter.
