Meet Camellia
This is the lovely, Camellia. This gorgeous girl was found out and all alone, and brought to the shelter so that she could find her forever home. Lovely Camellia has an estimated birthdate of 1/25/2020, so she's just about 4 years old. This pretty tortie loves to be brushed and have time spent with her. She has a pretty laid back personality, and absolutely lights up when she gets love and attention.
Even though she is super sweet, she will also let you know if she doesn't like something. That usually entails a light swat, or for her to just walk away. She IS a tortie after all, but there truly isn't much of that "tortitude" that can come along with that flashy fur! She like to play too and her favorites are kitty catnip kickers, and furry mice toys. She would be a wonderful companion for a single person, or as part of a busy family. We think that she would do fine as an only kitty, or with other kitty siblings. Camellia hasn't met too many dogs at the shelter, but we think that she would likely do fine, as long as she is with a dog who isn't over the top, or doesn't allow her to have her own space. Of course this takes into consideration, slow and proper introductions. It can take a new furry family member up to three months to become acclimated to their new home. Camellia likes people of all ages, so she should do just fine with kids as well. This beautiful young girl has now been with us for several months, and despite her beauty, just isn't getting a lot of attention. We don't understand how she can be so consistently overlooked when she's such a great girl! Would you like to meet the captivating Camellia? Our adoption fee is $100.00 for kittens up to 6 months of age and $80 for cats 7 months and older. It includes: a microchip, FeLV/FIV test (if old enough), spay or neuter, set of shots, de-worming, and a 1-year rabies vaccine (if old enough). Fees can be made by cash or credit card.
