Butterball Domestic Short Hair Chicago, IL

Butterball is a sweet, active, playful, fun 9-week old light orange/buff colored female kitten. She came to Friends of Chicago Animal Care & Control with her mom, Cookie, and 4 other kittens after the little family was found living in a garage.

Butterball is brave and curious. After a day of active play with her siblings, she loves to cuddle up against her favorite people in bed at night, at least until she decides to get up for a little more play. She is a great eater and the biggest kitten in her litter. She uses the litter box like a good girl. Butterball will be happiest if she is adopted with one of her siblings. However, we will consider adopting her out as a single if there is another kitten or playful, young feline-friendly cat for her to play with.

Ideally, Butterball will be adopted with one of her sisters: Pepper, Sugar or Nugmeg, or with her mom, Cookie.

Butterball will be spayed on 6-23-21 and will be available for adoption after that. She will also be microchipped and will receive age-appropriate vaccinations. She is too young for her rabies shot at this time.
