Meet Buffy! This little gal has had a long road to get ready for adoption, but it is now time to find her forever family. Buffy entered the NAWS rescue program in the spring of 2023 with four littermates and six kittens from a feral colony at a nursing home. When she arrived, it was obvious that life outdoors had been tough on her - both her eyes were infected and crusty. After careful vet care, the infection cleared, but Buffy was left with a "cherry eye." Although it did not seem to bother her, the decision was made for NAWS to cosmetically correct it with surgery. Buffy came through the surgery with flying colors, and we think she has the most beautiful eyes!

Buffy is a quiet and sweet girl that just wants to be with her person wherever they are. She gets along great with the other foster kittens and likes to snuggle and groom them. She is like an older sister taking care of the tiny kittens. You will not find a sweeter, gentler kitty anywhere!
