Meet Boy

Boy is an adult, spayed female cat, probably born in 2019 or so. She is currently the most tenured adoptable cat in our care. She arrived in September 2023 with Akasha, who may or may not be her mom. Akasha was adopted and Boy withdrew and didn't want to be with us or even be seen.

After a few months, she came out of her shell to make friends with the other quiet cats in her room and started enjoying short bursts of petting with us.

Update: She's gained a couple pounds, is shaped like a round torpedo, and now INSISTS on pets. She charges out of wherever she's sleeping to crash into us, demanding pets and conversation. She's a solid meat missile with one objective in mind - PET ME!! It's really great to see how much she's changed in the time she's been with us, and all of us would love to see Boy find her forever home this summer. No one wants to celebrate a 1-year anniversary with this chonky sweetheart.
