Bowie Domestic Short Hair & Snowshoe Mix Los Angeles, CA

This is Bowie. He showed up on our porch asking for help hours before a major rainstorm started that lasted 4 days straight. He was filthy, covered in infected bite wounds from being attacked by another animal, and very dehydrated and underweight. Despite all that, once brought inside, he showed the sweetest personality with a need for love and affection. When introduced to the 2 resident cats, 2 resident large dogs, and tiny toddler terror, he remained calm, completely non reactive and confident in the face of an already chaotic household. We don't know much about his backstory, other than he probably has not lived indoors before, but trusts humans completely and when startled, runs to the nearest lap for comfort rather than hide. He's adjusting well to life indoors, and is starting to show his playful side more and more. He's a very docile and lovable 1 year-old boy, could happily be in a house with other pets, and just needs some time to decompress from his days fighting for his life on the streets.
