BOSWELL (in foster) Domestic Short Hair & Tabby Mix Prescott, AZ

BOSWELL is a 2-year-old domestic short hair tabby, possibly a Bengal mix. His owner returned him as he was stressed being in a home with another cat. He will do best in a home as the only pet. His colors are a gorgeous buff, tan, and fawn, and he has beautiful green eyes.

Bos went into a foster home from Ms. Kitty’s with one of our volunteers because he wasn’t very active at the House. Now in a home situation, he explores the whole house, plays soccer with ping pong balls by himself, and chases yarn strings and wand toys. He is very friendly and loves to run and jump into your lap to be brushed and to cuddle. His purring can be heard into the next room! He enjoys watching birds, bunnies, lizards and more through the window, his favorite place when he’s not napping. He is friendly with visitors as well.

After coming to Ms. Kitty’s, Boswell was diagnosed with Addison’s, a condition where the adrenal glands don't produce enough hormones. He is now doing very well on medication. By receiving a monthly hormone shot at the vet clinic and by mixing powdered meds into his evening wet food, Bos is able to lead a normal, playful cat life. He is also on prescription wet and dry food, which he chows down in a heartbeat! Come and meet this sweet boy!
