Meet Bonnie & Tallie

Meet Bonnie & Tallie!

Bonnie (white with brown) and Tallie (orange tabby) have become bonded and inseparable. They are both spayed and vaccinated and in need of their forever home.

Bonnie came from the Union Gap area and was living in a U-Haul trailer with several other cats in the parking lot of the Motel 6 next to the freeway. We were told the cats were living in individual small crates inside the U-Haul for about 60 days. The crates were embedded with the traumatized cats’ terrified scratches as they had no certainty of their fate. Bonnie, understandably so, is less trusting than Tallie and will require patience and understanding to breakthrough to gain her trust. We can see however that she is curious and wants to interact with people and to give love and to be loved. She’s a mellow, young adult that we estimate to be between 3-4 years old.

Tallie came from the Grandview area and was living outside someone’s home where she was dumped and had several litters of kittens before being rescued. Tallie came with her last litter of babies who all found homes. Tallie is easy going, has little elf-like features, and enjoys being petted and talked to. She’s a true couch potato. We estimate Tallie to be between 6-7 years old.

Are you interested in meeting Bonnie & Tallie? Please submit an inquiry through PetFinder with questions or to schedule a time to meet, or visit our website at uccryakima.org (http://uccryakima.org/) and click on "adoption application" if you think these girls are the one for you! Please remember that rescue cats have a past and will need someone to be patient and kind with them as they settle in to their new home. We would be more than happy to help educate and provide advice through the rehoming process.
