Belle initially tested positive for FeLV, followed by three negative tests for FeLV (including a PCR). She has always tested negative for FIV, is spayed, microchipped for identification, and vaccinated for rabies and FVRCP. Possible that her first FeLV test result was a false positive (and she could be truly negative for FeLV) or indicate that she has a focal or regressive FeLV infection (not progressive) - slight exposure that her immune system is fighting off. Although the risk of her being contagious for FeLV is thought to be small, we advise that Belle be an only cat.
