Beatrice Domestic Short Hair Cincinnati, OH

Beatrice is a lovely little calico who came to the shelter early in the spring of 2022. A family in Mason noticed her living in the woods behind their home and started feeding her. Once she was tame enough to catch, they brought her to the shelter. A few weeks after intake, it was evident she was pregnant and eventually she gave birth to 5 kittens. Beatrice and her kittens left the shelter and lived in a foster home for 4 months. After returning to the shelter, she took some time warming up to the other cats in the room, but to her credit, there were 12 of them! One of our volunteers adopted Bea last year and had her for a little over a year, but due to some unfortunate circumstances in their life, had to bring her back.
So now she is looking for a new home and would do well with or without another cat in the home. She’s not fond of dogs or children and prefers a quiet environment with a sunny window with a cat tree where she can watch birds.

Our shelter has a policy to only adopt within a 50 mile radius so that if problems arise, the pet can easily be returned to the shelter.
